Privacy policy

This policy describes how georgeleith.com handles information when you visit the site or send a message through the contact form. It is a personal-brand site for George Leith — not a store and not a membership product.

What we collect

  • Information you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you submit, plus any other fields on that form.
  • Technical logs. The host (WP Engine) and security/performance tools may record IP address, browser type, and pages requested, the way almost every website does, in order to operate and protect the site.
  • Analytics. The site uses Google Site Kit. That can include Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console so George and the people who maintain this site can see aggregated traffic, not to sell a list of visitors.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information. We do not run a store checkout on this domain. We do not require an account to read the public pages.

Cookies and similar technology

Analytics and the content-delivery / performance layer may set cookies or similar identifiers. You can block cookies in your browser; the public pages will still load.

Third parties

Form submissions are processed by the contact-form plugin on this WordPress site. Embedded video and podcast players are served by those providers under their own policies. Links to LinkedIn, YouTube, AdCellerant, and other sites leave georgeleith.com.

How long we keep messages

Contact-form messages are kept long enough to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. We delete or archive them when they are no longer needed for that purpose.

Your requests

To ask what we hold about you, or to ask us to delete a message you sent, use the contact form and say that it is a privacy request. We aim to respond within five business days.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and the date below.
