Reputation Management is Important: George Leith’s Advice

Would you step over a dead dog lying in the doorway to your favorite shop?

The dog is dead— it isn’t going to move, nor will it cause you to trip.

You would simply need to step over it, and you’re home free.

But most customers won’t.

This “dead dog” is that one negative review on your Google Business Profile.

All it takes is just one bad review to tank conversion rates or cause customers to walk away.

Even if you’re doing everything right.

Reputation management is important.

George Leith taught this to me, and I reference it often in my presentations (like you see here).

Pretty hard to forget the “dead dog doorway” example once you’ve heard it, right?
